The short version

What you share with Claire stays with Claire. Your documents and conversations are never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to train AI models. You control your data. You can delete everything, permanently, at any time.

What we collect

When you use Claire, we collect the information you choose to share with her — documents, messages, and context you provide. We also collect basic account information (email address) and standard technical information needed to operate the service (such as IP addresses for security purposes and usage logs for reliability).

We do not collect information about what you do when you are not using Claire. We do not track you across the web. We do not purchase data about you from third parties.

How we use it

We use the information you share with Claire to provide the service — to help her understand your situation, remember your context, and give you better assistance over time. That is the only reason we hold your data.

We do not use your documents or conversations to train AI models. Not ours. Not anyone else’s.

What we never do

Your controls

You are in control of your data at all times.

• Documents expire after 30 days unless you choose to save them
• You can delete any conversation at any time
• You can download everything you’ve shared with Claire
• You can delete your account — and every piece of data associated with it — permanently and instantly

Data retention

Documents you share with Claire expire after 30 days unless you explicitly save them. Conversations are stored as long as you have an account, or until you delete them. When you delete your account, all of your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Security

We take security seriously because we understand the sensitive nature of what people share with Claire. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices and regularly review them.

Third-party services

Claire uses AI models to power her responses. Your conversations may be processed by our AI providers to generate responses. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing the service to us, and from training their models on your data.

We use standard infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, databases) to operate the service. These providers store data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.

Children

Claire is not intended for people under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email before the changes take effect. We will not make changes that reduce your privacy rights without giving you the opportunity to object.
